Some STAR Center courses to be accepted for credits at three colleges
STAR Center - a division of the AMO Safety & Education Plan and the primary training provider for members of American Maritime Officers - has established relationships with Florida Atlantic University, American Public University and Mountwest Community and Technical College. These institutions will soon accept various STAR Center courses for credit towards graduate, bachelor and associate degree programs.
Requirements and credit hours available are different with each university and college. The details of the agreements with the various schools are currently being finalized and will be published in an upcoming edition of American Maritime Officer.
