Third annual “Women on the Water” conference to be held Oct. 15 to 17

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the Maine Maritime Academy announced the third annual “Women on the Water” conference will be held Oct.15 to 17 on the campus of the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine.

The conference brings together midshipmen, cadets, maritime labor, ship owners and operators, and others in the maritime industry to discuss current events and career development. Cadets will have an opportunity to explore maritime careers, speaking directly with successful women in the industry.
