Sealift awarded MSC charter for containership
Military Sealift Command has awarded Sealift LLC a contract for a containership to carry ammunition and general cargo in a re-supply capacity at Diego Garcia. The ship that will operate under this charter has yet to be identified.

The contract has a firm one-year period with three one-year options and one 11-month option. American Maritime Officers represents all licensed officers in the Sealift LLC fleet. More information will be published as it becomes available.
