AMO Plans: STAR Center will relax COVID protocols starting April 3

STAR Center has received approval from the Safety & Education Plan Trustees to further relax campus protocols starting April 3, 2022.

Starting April 3, the following changes will be in effect:

  • Authorized guests will be allowed on campus and to accompany students during their stay.
  • The wearing of masks at all times while indoors on campus will be strongly encouraged. Per CDC guidelines, wearing of masks is strongly recommended at all times, especially by those who are unvaccinated.
  • A pre-arrival questionnaire, to include vaccine status of the student and any guests, will still be required; however, pre-arrival COVID testing is suspended. Please note: COVID testing may be required onsite as a result of contact tracing or if an individual is displaying COVID symptoms.

STAR Center and AMO Plans COVID protocols have been highly effective in preventing infections to students and staff on campus and have provided for the ongoing continuity of STAR Center and AMO Plans operations during the pandemic. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to amend these rules at any time based on the current condition of the surrounding area.

AMO members who have submitted an application to attend classes at STAR Center between April 3 and May 31, and who indicated that they wanted to bring guests with them, are asked to resend their guest request to to ensure STAR Center will be expecting all attendees.
