Special meeting to be held November 26 at AMO National Headquarters for election of rank-and-file Tallying Committee for 2018 AMO election

A special meeting will be held Monday, November 26 at American Maritime Officers National Headquarters in Dania Beach, Fla. in the assembly room on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

As stated in Article XI, Section 4(a) of the AMO National Constitution: "A Tallying Committee consisting of five (5) members and two (2) alternates, in good standing, shall be elected from those in attendance at special meeting called by the National President or the National Officer officially in charge designated by the National President, at Headquarters on the Monday morning in the week preceding the week of the regular December meetings for the express purpose of electing a Tallying Committee."
